Job Description

The Legal Associate (Volunteer) will provide legal support to ensure MHI’s operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents while advising on intellectual property matters, data protection, and healthcare compliance. This role involves conducting legal research, supporting risk assessment, and working closely with internal teams to develop policies and mitigate legal risks. You will also liaise with government authorities and regulatory agencies as needed, representing the company’s interests in legal matters. The Legal Associate will collaborate with the Executive team, HR, and external legal counsel to address specialized legal issues and guide the organization in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Knowledge of contract law, intellectual property, and data protection regulations.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Experience or interest in healthcare law is an advantage.
